Brauckmann met with Fountain Farms neighbors three separate times to see what they wanted.

“I talked with them about what they envisioned, what they thought about the location,” Brauckmann.

The equipment has been ordered, and Brauckmann is looking for volunteers to install the items—a community service project for a group in town.

Parks and recreation officials will install the equipment, but have a list of other township tasks to take care of first. Brauckmann was hoping a local contractor would volunteer services, much like community members did at . Community members helped at several months ago.

“I think this type of community project would be an outstanding one if we could pull it off,” Brauckmann said. “It creates a sense of ownership and pride when people involve themselves in projects. Plus, it also saves money.”

The new equipment is being paid for with a —the same county grant responsible for the majority of the costs of the new at Wood Park. The structure came in at just under $10,000, Brauckmann said.

The remainder of the $185,000 grant is going to fix the bathrooms at , Brauckmann said.
