Memorial Day: 'It's About Veterans Who Lost Their Lives'

Cinnaminson will hold a Memorial Day ceremony this weekend.

Cinnaminson will hold its annual Memorial Day ceremony Sunday morning, with N.J. Rep. Jon Runyan (R-3) as the guest speaker.

The event begins at 10 a.m. outside of the township's . The 20-minute long ceremony begins with opening remarks from Mayor Don Brauckmann, a former United States Marine.

There will be a wreath-laying ceremony and a 21-gun salute from members of the Riverside Post $146 of the American Legion.

The National Anthem will be sung by Colleen Hart and Dan McGann will play "Taps."

Light refreshments will be served.

"It's a short time out of your holiday weekend to stress what the holiday is really about," Brauckmann said. "It's about veterans who lost their lives."
