No Independents File for Cinnaminson's Municipal Race

Republican candidates could run unopposed this November.

The deadline for those to file as independents in this year's municipal race has passed and according to the Burlington County Clerk's office, no one in Cinnaminson threw their hats in the ring.

Last year, three independent candidates— and —ran against Republican incumbents . The incumbents retained their seats.

on Cinnaminson Township Committee and unless primary results show a certain number of write-in votes for other candidates, they will run unopposed.

After Tuesday's primary, the two chairs of the Cinnaminson Democrats—Jim Bernard and Bill O'Connor—stepped down. O'Connor, in an interview with Cinnaminson Patch earlier this week, .
