Tax Bills To Be Mailed Soon

Due to state budget issues, tax bills everywhere have been delayed.

Cinnaminson residents will see their tax bills very soon after a long wait, according to Gerry Seneski, township administrator.

Last week, the township finally received their final tax rates and state aid information.

“That’s where the holdup was,” Seneski said. “The state had to finish their budget process and wasn’t aware of what the final numbers would be.”

But, it’s still going to take some time to put together all the bills, Seneski added. There are well over 7,000 bills that need to be printed, folded, stuffed and mailed.

“We also like to put information into the bills,” Seneski said, “so four pages extra are going in.”

But, homeowners can go online to see what it is they owe and even schedule their payments. That information is available now.

Seneski said more and more residents are taking advantage of this service. You can sign up to view all property tax information here.

There was a $16.5 million decrease in ratables this year, and there will continue to be a significant decrease next year, too, Seneski said.

The lost appeals made by , Hoeganaes and . They were the main businesses to contribute to the loss of ratables.
