What You Need to Know About Tonight's Township Committee Meeting

Bus shelters and block parties will be discussed this evening.

Cinnaminson Township committee members meet tonight for a work session at 7:30 p.m. at the . The meeting is open to the public. 

Here are some things that will be discussed:

Bus shelters—The New Jersey Department of Transportation wants to install new bus shelters here, but wants Cinnaminson to take on insurance and construction costs.

"We're not desirous of doing that," Deputy Mayor Anthony Minniti said. 

Minniti said township members will further discuss the issue to see how it would work and be cost-effective in Cinnaminson. They will also discuss the possibility of choosing where the bus shelters will go.

Block party ordinance—At a meeting last month, township committee members discussed . They will further discuss the issue tonight including who would be notified and rules about alcohol and more. 

Site plan wavier requirements/ordinance—Township committee members will further discuss site plan waiver requirements for empty buildings in town. Minniti said the possibility of a planning board subcommittee will be analyzed.
