Bottom Dollar Opens Friday

The long-awaited grocery store opens its doors March 2.

Bottom Dollar Food, the newest grocery store to call Cinnaminson its home, will open Friday, March 2 at 8 a.m.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held about 20 minutes before the doors open. Cinnaminson township officials have been invited to the ceremony.

The first 200 customers in Cinnaminson will get a free reusable bag filled with brand products.

Construction crews renovated the space for more than a year. The center's parking lot got a makeover, too. In 2004, Cinnaminson passed an ordinance that states all landlords must refurbish their strip malls before new tenants lease space. The same was done to the before moved in.

Bottom Dollar Food will donate $500 to all four of Cinnaminson's public schools: , , and .

In October 2010, Bottom Dollar Food opened it first store in the Greater Philadelphia area. There are five New Jersey locations: Marlton, Turnersville, Cherry Hill, Clementon and Glassboro. 

March 2 also marks the opening of another Bottom Dollar Food, located on Broad Street in Trenton.

Bottom Dollar is opening six more location in South Jersey. Route 130 stores in Bordentown and Edgewater Park are slated to open, as well as a store on Browning Road in Bellmawr, one on Broad Street in Woodbury, another on Route 38 in Mt. Holly and a final one on Route 130 in East Windsor.

The store is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.
