Providence House is a local organization that is committed to providing shelter and support to homeless, abused and formerly incarcerated women and their children in a hospitable, non-violent, compassionate atmosphere.
Last year, the drive was a huge success and this year is expected to be even better. The drive will run from July 18-Sept. 8.
"I have connected with Providence House in a special way," Kulinski said. "I have seen the great things that this organization provides, at no cost to the clients. This drive is a way for me to give back to them because they have helped so many."
The most needed item is backpacks.
Other essential needs include: pencil boxes/ pouches, marble composition books, pencils, dry erase markers, crayons, colored pencils, glue sticks, washable glue, highlighters, pocket folders and spiral notebooks.
“I think this is a great event and I applaud Mrs. Kulinski’s efforts in putting this drive together, for the second year,” Councilman Mike Schwartz said. “The school supplies that are raised do so much for the children of Delran and Burlington County.”
