From the Class to the Board
Eighth-graders from CMS acted as school board members Tuesday night.
Fourteen Cinnaminson Middle School eighth-graders took on the roles of board of education members Tuesday night as part of Youth in Board Service Day. Timmy Jones acted as president at the board of education meeting in place of Board President Jean Cohen. Tatum Fowles acted in Superintendent Salvatore Illuzzi's place. The students are part of Senate in the middle school and were nominated for their parts Tuesday night. Anna Saginario and Jenna Cucinotta served as middle school student representatives—alongside Brittany Wun, who is the high school representative at the regular meetings—and talked about events at the middle school. The rest of the board was as follows: Patrick McCarthy as Jacqueline Plunkett—Vice president of the board Olivia Gural as Pam Crepps Erika Sanchez as Linda DiMassimo Callie Schweizer as James Herschel Mike McAndrews as Stephen Kenny Olivia Rocks as Linda Lamb Kaitlyn O’Connor as James J. McGuckin Jr. Jillian Kemble as Dolores Woodington Hannah Duffy as Terry Luxenberg—Assistant superintendent Andrew Greene as Thomas W.
