so who cares, worry about the value of the assessment to our lower value homes and the vacant one that have been vacant for over 3 years.....it must be nice being a teacher.....good luck people

Wow. Absolutely nothing better to do. Pathetic. Leave if you don't like it. Do you even have a child in one of the schools? By the way, I care.

John, enough with the same comment on any and every article here on Patch. If you think you're house is over assessed, flip your tax bill over and follow the text on it to appeal. You can do it just like a lot of people in this town do. If you won't do that, then just be quite and stop trolling the school and township news articles.

@Chris D. Better yet, why don't you leave? @Phil. Did John touch a nerve? John probably has 7,500 or more reasons to complain. Taxpayers have a right to complain about the ridiculous taxes in this township. Just like the vastly overpaid teachers have a right to cry poverty every time they can.

Ric, Let me a bit more clear on my comment to John. I read this article for the sole reason of looking at important dates for the upcoming school year, not for someones issues with our high taxes, how poor the housing market is, or how much teachers make. Keep those comments where they belong, in articles that pertain to them. As far as John leaving, unless he is shackled in his basement he can move to one of the other 49 states and change his situation.
Phil September 07, 2012 at 02:00 PM
Ric, my point to John is he makes the same comment on every single article here on Patch. Witness his original remark on the fatal accident. And the fact there is a process to get what he is complaining about taken care. Problem is most people, including myself, don't take the time to do it.
