A dynamic presentation by New Jersey author and illustrator Dar Hosta brought out the writer and artist in everyone. Third-grade students were encouraged to write whatever they felt like writing, without teacher direction or assistance and created illustrations using Hosta’s signature collage style of art. Teachers and students topped off the week by decorating doors for Read Across America. Winners will receive extra recess next week.
