Three Things You Need to Know: Tonight's Board of Education Meeting

1. Tonight, Superintendent Salvatore Illuzzi will give the district's annual report of violence and vandalism for the 2010-11 school year. Dr. Illuzzi will break down the numbers and talk about how they compare to recent years and to other districts. (Read about new bullying initiatives impelmented in the district )
2. Architect Robert Garrison will present plans for a new project at the that could be implemented. Want to know the project? You'll have to go to the meeting to find out. Dr. Illuzzi wants the board of education members to hear the plans first before releasing them to Cinnaminson Patch. Sounds fair, but if we could speculate, we expect some major renovations to the school.

3. Next week, student representatives will run another meeting of the school board, with a student in each spot shadowing a board member. The public is invited to that meeting, which will be 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 18.
