The spring sports season is upon us.

Whether your child is making a splash in little league, rewriting the high school record books or is out to have a good time in a local rec league, we want to know what’s happening in local sports and we want you to let us know.

Patch bloggers can write daily, weekly or monthly on a topic of choice. Short or long, essay style or a quick how-to. Blogging on Patch is a great way to share your opinions with the community and get your voice out there.

To share your thoughts, you'll need to log-in (or create an account if you're new) in the upper right-hand corner of the site. Once signed in, head to the blog and at the top, click inside the box that says "Write a new post." Then select "article" at the top and you'll be on your way to posting your thoughts. It's that simple!

Has the rink refurbishment at Memorial park been completed? Is there a kids street hockey league?

Lets see now, I knew some people were asking about the rink and I thought it was going to be done with volunteers, did not know it was going to be done with public works people, do not think so, street hockey league, not here...why not get it rolling if people are in need of street hockey...good luck

Thanks John. I will totally get the ball rolling if there is interest in the community. Hopefully people will see this and say they are interested. Please ask anybody if they are interested to respond to this page.
