Cinnaminson Grad Gets American Legion Awards Scholarship

Post 372 names two winners in honor of former post commanders.

A Cinnaminson grad and a Cherry Hill West grad are the recipients of this year's scholarships from Cherry Hill American Legion Post 372.

Cinnaminson's Jon McGugan, who attends Burlington County College and plays on the school's baseball team, was awarded the John Huhn III Memorial Scholarship, which is named for former post commander Huhn, who served 13 years in that capacity.

West's Evan Hacker, who currently attends Rio Grande University in Ohio and plays baseball, was awarded the Thomas Goldy Sr. Memorial Scholarship, named in honor of the former post commander, who served from 2000-2006.
