Cinnaminson Sending Five Wrestlers to Region 7 Tournament

The Region 8 tournament begins Tuesday night at Robbinsville High School.

The Cinnaminson High School wrestling team is sending five wrestlers to the Region 7 tournament, according to nj.com.

Three Pirates finished second in their respective weight classes at the District 26 tournament on Saturday.

Zack Sireci advanced to the 182-pound final before falling to Burlington City’s Ajala Modraza, 5-1.

Ryan Adelsberger fell to Holy Cross’s Matt Correnti, 11-5, in the 195-pound final.

Tom Halecki dropped a 7-3 decision to Moorestown’s Tyreek Smith in the 220-pound final.

Two more recovered from semifinal losses to win their third place match and advance to regionals.

Kevin Fisher scored a pinfall victory over Moorestown’s Wes Sporer in three minutes, 43 seconds at 120 pounds.

Heavyweight Keith Swartley will represent the Pirates at the Region 7 tournament following his pinfall win over Delran’s Devin Rolon in one minute, 58 seconds.

The Region 7 tournament begins Tuesday night at Robbinsville High School, with all the second and third place wrestlers competing against each other. The winners join the district champions on Friday night.

I believe the tournament is Wednesday night @5:00pm. Not Tuesday.
