Cinnaminson Softball Team Upsets Spotswood in Playoffs

The Pirates upended Spotswood, 5-1.

The 10th seeded Cinnaminson High School softball team upset No. 7 Spotswood, 5-1, in the first round of the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group 2 playoffs this week, according to nj.com.

Jessica Gant was 3-for-4 with a run and Brittany Runyen was 1-for-2 and scored twice, according to the report.

The Pirates will visit No. 2 Bordentown, which squeaked out a 10-9 win over No. 15 Point Pleasant Boro in the first round, on Wednesday.
