Do It Yourself Project: Delran Hockey League Players Renovate Rink

It took 1,000 hours of work and $15,000, the Burlington County Times reports.

The players in the Delran Roller Hockey League improved their own outdoor rink with about 1,000 hours of work and $15,000, the Burlington County Times reports.

It took the players, who formed the league in 2010, a little longer than they expected, but they were able to restore the Summer Hill Hockey Rink at Ken Johnston Memorial Park, according to the report.

But sadly our hockey rink sits in disrepair... Moorestown dismantled their skatepark, and our rink is probably the next casuality of short sightedness.
