According to several sources, Cinnaminson's Tony DiLeo has been named general manager for the Philadelphia 76ers.
DiLeo, who served as the interim head coach of the 76ers in 2009, had been working as senior vice president and assistant general manager.
An AOL SportingNews story said DiLeo will work with team president Rod Thorn, who has a year left on his contract.
DiLeo played at La Salle University and coached and played in West Germany before joining the 76ers in 1990. He was an assistant in the 1990s and took over as interim coach when Maurice Cheeks was fired.
DiLeo was credited with helping to secure center Andrew Bynum from the Lakers earlier this summer.
DiLeo's two sons, T.J. and Max, are also basketball stars. Read Cinnaminson Patch's profile of T.J. and Max.
