Soccer Players Get New Gear

More than 450 warm-up jackets were given to travel and friendship players on the township's soccer teams.

Officials with the Cinnaminson Soccer Club recently gave more than 450 warm-up jackets to its travel and friendship players in the club.

The purchase was made possible because of the success of the Thanksgiving Tournament which attracted over 140 teams along with 3000 visitors to the town last year.

The Thanksgiving Tournament also helps the club keep registrations fees low, provides professional training to every age group, and allows the club to jointly invest in field maintenance with the township and school board.

This year, the club's 32nd year, similar numbers are expected over the weekend of Nov. 24 and 25. Any local businesses interested in tournament sponsorship, which is tax-deductible, should contact the club tournament director online at www.cinnaminsonsoccer.com.

In other news, Cinnaminson Soccer is also holding its annual Soccer Social on Friday, Oct. 26, at 8 p.m., at Touch of Class in Maple Shade.
