Jake Wilmer and CJ Gee scored seven points each. Aiden Nesemeier scored six points, followed by Eric Gallagher with five points.

Tyre Lampkin scored four points, and Justin Yansick added a field goal.

The Pirates also played tenacious defense in the victory.

Danny Campbell, Tyler Conn, Justyn Cacesse, Rod Wright, Jr., Kyle Robinson, and Ben DiGiacomo also played and contributed to the Pirates’ victory.

"These boys really worked hard during the past five months and complemented each other on the court very well,” Nesemeier said. “All season long, it always seemed like when one or two of our key players were having off nights, two or three of our other players would step up and lead the team to victory.  It really was a privilege for Brian Gallagher, Dominick Sabato, and I to coach these young Pirates and observe them getting better every week of the season."

Nesemeier added that the seventh grade team also won a championship, defeating No. 1 seeded Kingsway and No. 2 seeded Seneca to capture their division title.
