Wood Park Tennis Lessons Start Tuesday

The program is free to kids 14 and under.

Cinnaminson's annual tennis lessons start this Tuesday and are free to township residents.

The lessons, sponsored by Cinnaminson Parks and Recreation, is being led again by Ike Johnson, along with several other instructors.

Lessons are held at the tennis courts 9 a.m to noon, every Tuesday and Thursday until Aug. 2. Lessons are free to kids 14 and under and only $25 for those 15 and older.

The program schedule is:

9 to 10 a.m.—9-year-olds and younger, free

10 to 11 a.m.—10- to 14-year-olds, free

11 a.m. to noon—15-year-olds to adults, $25 made payable to Cinnaminson Township

Those interested in the tennis lessons can show up Tuesday to register. The front four courts closest to Branch Pike are reserved for the lessons.

"This is yet another outstanding summer program offered," Mayor Don Brauckmann said in a release. "I hope people will sign up and to continue to support this and all of our programs."
