Eshe: The Bilingual Dog

This pet profile is courtesy of the Burlington County Animal Shelter.

Sprechen Sie Deutsch? Eshe does!

Adorable Eshe has a cute floppy ear and is about 50 lbs, 5 years old, and she is bilingual! She sat for the German word for sit, (sitzen) and gave kisses to a volunteer (no translation needed there!).

She walked very well on the leash and enjoyed being petted. The family that surrendered her said she is housebroken, not good with cats or small animals but is good with adults, kids and babies and loves to play with children and take long walks.

Our volunteer dog walkers say she walks well on the leash, is friendly and attentive, and enjoys cuddling.

On a recent hot day, she enjoyed being sprayed with a hose to cool off and even jumped into the kiddie pool for a little splashing around. She sounds like a really nice dog for a family willing to give her some time to acclimate to a new home.  Eshe deserves a new loving family, and she doesn’t care what language you speak. Come see her soon.
