Hockey Rink Project Seeking More Volunteers

The supporters of the Memorial Park hockey rink will be out again Sunday making improvements. Find out how you can help.

Have a few hours Sunday?

The supporters of the Memorial Park hockey rink are gathering once again to improve upon the long-defunct rink.

Organizer Brian Lowy said all the repair work is finished and a painter is coming by at 10 a.m. Sunday to spray the rink. They need at least two volunteers to follow the painter with a brush and roller.

Lowy said the whole process should only take about four to five hours—though if more than two volunteers show up, they can work in shifts so no one has to bethere for the entire project.
