Frigid Temps Prompt Code Blue Declaration
Burlington County has declared a Code Blue Cold Weather Emergency through Saturday.

Due to a wet forecast and dropping temperatures, Burlington County has declared a Code Blue Cold Weather Emergency from 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 1, through 12 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4.

Temperatures are expected to drop as low as the teens—and lower—in our area over the next few days, according to the latest forecasts.
A Code Blue declaration is made when winter conditions pose a threat of serious harm or death to individuals without shelter. When a Code Blue is enacted, it provides for short-term emergency sheltering.
