UPDATE: Car Show, Final Summer Concert Highlight Week Ahead

Also, stop by Wood Park Saturday for the annual Cinnaminson girls softball car show.

UPDATE: The launch of Cinnaminson's new website will have to wait until next month, according to Committeeman Don Brauckmann, to give township committee more time to review and approve the site.

The township is expected to launch its new-look website Monday night, in conjunction with its regular council meeting, which starts at 7:30 in the municipal building.

Earlier this month, Networks Plus gave committee a sneak peek at the new website, which will have all kinds of new features, including an "I Want To" dropdown menu, historical information about Cinnaminson, school and church directories, parks and recreation information, and more.

This week also marks the end of the township's series of free summer concerts. Bigg Romeo, "Philly's No. 1 party band," will play past and present Top 40 hits. The concert will be held 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Wood Park.

The outdoor entertainment doesn't end there though. The township will hold its annual outdoor movie night Sept. 7 (also at Wood Park), a double feature this year, with a showing of Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted and The Avengers

And on Saturday, the Cinnaminson girls softball team will hold its second annual car show (again, at Wood Park). Aside from the main attraction, the event will also feature a DJ, concession stand and basket auction. The event is free to the public. The entrance fee to enter a car in the competition is $20, payable the day of the show. Stop by Saturday morning to support a good cause.
