@Drew Football is for the big kids who don't like soccer anymore and are not afraid to getRead More physical. Football is for the kids who are soccered out because they have been playing it since they were 4 yrs old. Football is for the kids who want to try something else and add a little variety in their life. Football is for the kids who chose football over soccer when they had a choice. How about soccer is for the little boys who are not big enough to play football. Should I keep going on or have I made my point. Both are good sports to play some choose one over the other and one is no better than the other. It's a personal preference that the boy makes. My son was a soccer goalie for 10yrs and was good at it. He jumped at the chance to play football when the opportunity came around. He's good at that too. He didn't want to play soccer anymore.

Skitch, good response, but Drew is a joke on here. Don't lend him legitimacy with such thoughtfulRead More intelligent replies. He is merely trolling for reactions
John June 30, 2014 at 09:17 pm
They should ban him from the comments he is always negative

This is news? Even if it were, the game was yesterday and over by mid-afternoon. We lost yet thisRead More still appears in the main news column. Doesn't anybody monitor this site and try to keep it timely? One thing's for sure, if I want to know what the weather was last week I can probably find it in breaking news on Patch.
John June 27, 2014 at 09:42 am
Truthfully, watching paint dry is probably more exciting

Who wants to win that in the 1st place !?!

Can't wait to see this commercial. It will probably feature Eli Manning walking into a DunkinRead More Donuts, and the contest winner saying something like, "Hey, look! It's Eli Manning of the NY Giants! He likes Dunkin Donuts too."
Bobbi June 21, 2014 at 01:14 pm
Eli should be more concerned about becoming more accurate with his throwing arm. No moreRead More interceptions Eli, please!

Not being a basketball fan, maybe I don't understand. Why can't they practice at the Wells FargoRead More Center?
Mel Sharples June 10, 2014 at 01:56 pm
We should have offered $76.76M, which probably would've gotten the deal done and saved the taxpayersRead More $5.4M. But seriously, I don't think government has a role in building homes and facilities for corporations, that money should've gone to infrastructure. But it's better than a casino. Maybe this is some attempt at CC to parrot Ricky Perry's inane giveaways to businesses who'd already decided to move to TX (i.e. Honda) so he can take credit.
Mel Sharples June 10, 2014 at 01:57 pm
76ers owners own the Devils. Possibly related to some deal up north?
Brian N June 9, 2014 at 01:42 pm
Not at all John, I agree with you, nice work!
Ross Chatham June 9, 2014 at 05:09 pm
But sadly our hockey rink sits in disrepair... Moorestown dismantled their skatepark, and our rinkRead More is probably the next casuality of short sightedness.
Winey Teecher June 9, 2014 at 06:31 pm
But sadly our students sit in despair as the teachers text and lounge it up while waiting for theirRead More 3 month vacation to start. Our students are probably the next casualty of short sightedness.

Parents ruin sports..
sportsnut July 14, 2014 at 07:39 am
Alan I agree. Parents coach to get their kids and kids friends a leg up. Kids are choosen too basedRead More on parents and kids being friends. Take AAU and All-Stars and positions in each sport. Parents coach because they want their kid in prime positions, kids are friends with certain kids or because a family does not like someone but the kid has talent not playing. You need "out of area" coaches to come and determine if a kid is "that good" to be at the next level not "locals" whom coach because that is the only way the kid will get playing time.
CowDung July 23, 2014 at 10:20 am
sportsnut: Seems like a perfect opportunity for you to get involved in coaching... If nothingRead More else, becoming a coach will give you a voice in the league to lobby for equal playing time for all kids, and rotation of positions--particularly at the lower levels.

She's crazier than he is....they deserve each other. They'll find her dead some day.
Mel Sharples April 1, 2014 at 07:56 am
Oh, come now. Wait a few months. The Ravens - a corporation largely dependent on the survival andRead More acquittal of Ray Rice - will commission an "independent" investigation to find out what really happened. And the final report will show, shockingly, that Ray did nothing wrong. That he was somehow the victim or that there were circumstances beyond his control. And if that sham worked for Christie, why won't it work for Ray?

Has the rink refurbishment at Memorial park been completed? Is there a kids street hockey league?
John March 29, 2014 at 10:35 am
Lets see now, I knew some people were asking about the rink and I thought it was going to be doneRead More with volunteers, did not know it was going to be done with public works people, do not think so, street hockey league, not here...why not get it rolling if people are in need of street hockey...good luck

Billy Pilgrim - agreed! John is clearly an angry, miserable, nasty individual, as evidenced by hisRead More hundreds of negative posts on Patch. On a positive note - congratulations to Josh!
