Chris Ricciuti, a lifelong Cinnaminson resident, passed away last week at the age of 51.
Christopher L. (Chris) Ricciuti, a lifelong Cinnaminson resident and an active member of the Cinnaminson Fire Department, passed away suddenly at the age of 51 on Friday, May 3. Chris worked for his father’s company, Art Guild Inc., for 34 years as a purchasing agent. He liked to golf, fish, go off-roading in the pines, and especially loved showing and driving his Corvette. Chris was past president of Cinnaminson Fire Department, past president of St. Charles Borromeo Holy Name Society, current treasurer of the Classic Corvette Club, and a proud member of Riverton Country Club. Paul Phillips, a Cinnaminson resident, was 54.
Paul Phillips, the former superintendent of the Cinnaminson Sewerage Authority, died Feb. 15, according to an obituary on Phillyburbs.com. His death came one year to the day he and six other sewerage authority employees were arrested on corruption and theft charges in a widespread scandal at the agency. In all, 10 people—including Assistant Superintendent William Yannarella—were charged in the scandal. Phillips faced 17 counts, including charges of theft, tampering with records, official misconduct, conspiracy to commit official misconduct and more. Authorities alleged that through various schemes, Phillips and the other sewerage authority employees, contractors and family members charged stole at least $100,000 in public resources. …

Richard J. Young, of Moorestown, passed away on January 4 at the age of 52 after a long battle with illness. Young is survived by his wife, Elaine (nee Bozar) and children Timothy and Colleen Young, both of Moorestown. He was the son of M. Godfrey Young and Anna Jarvis Young, of Cinnaminson, and the brother of Helen (Robert) Czarnecki, of Cinnaminson, and Andrew (Kate) Young of Elkton, MD. A native of England, Young was raised in Cinnaminson before moving to Moorestown, where he was greatly involved in youth athletics. He coached recreation and travel soccer teams and baseball teams for several years, as well as street and roller hockey teams, including a number of years as a volunteer coach and referee with the Moorestown Youth Street …

Charles E. “Chuck” Hubler Sr., a resident of Cinnaminson for 33 years, died Dec. 24. He was 64 years old. Hubler has worked as a machinist for Exacta V & H Corp. and Vermes Machine Co., Inc. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, and never gave up on his Phillies and Eagles. Hubler was very active in Cinnaminson PAL soccer, baseball and hockey, and Cinnaminson AA Football before he became disabled.
