Former Gas Station on 130 and Willow Will be Demolished Soon

The township worked with the property owners to get rid of the blighted property.

  Cinnaminson will be free of a major blighted property in February when the former Mobil gas station on the corner of Route 130 and Willow Drive will be demolished. The station—which has been abandoned since 2003—was just recently added to the township’s abandoned properties list, allowing Cinnaminson officials to intervene. The property owner and attorneys agreed to the demolition Tuesday and have 30 days to make good on their promise. The Mainline center recently got a facelift and Mainline II is slated for a major one this year. “To have property that looks like this in the middle of it—clearly it’s not advancing the health, safety and welfare of the township,” said Deputy Mayor Anthony Minniti, who serves as the township’s director of…

Starbucks, Chipotle Coming to Cinnaminson?

A developer bought the Triboro site and has plans to open those two restaurants along with other retail stores and a bank.

A New Jersey-based developer plans to redevelop a major section of Cinnaminson off Route 130 with a Starbucks, Chipotle, retail stores, offices and more, Cinnaminson Township officials announced Thursday. Kerrim C. Jivani, a Monmouth County-based developer, bought the vacant Triboro auto dealership on Route 130 south near Taylors Lane, from Chrysler Group Realty Company and has already submitted preliminary plans. Plans call for 50,000 square feet of retail and office space over six new buildings on the 8-acre site. Three of those acres are in Delran. This is to agent itchy..,. I couldn't agree with you more. I would love to see appealing shops and restaurants open in this town so I can actually shop and eat in my own town instead of going to neighboring towns. It's insulting to hear about how certain stores wouldnt meet our demographics. I make a good living and pay enough in taxes. We are not in poverty here. I don't need coach and capital …   more ›
