Somebody's wedding day didn't end so joyfully as three women allegedly assaulted a fourth woman in the bathroom during a wedding reception at The Merion over the weekend, police said. Around 11:30 p.m., Friday, July 13, Cinnaminson Police were dispatched to the Route 130 facility to find the three women involved left prior to their arrival. The victim, Catherine Waterfield, had called police and said she was followed into the bathroom during the reception of the wedding she was attending. She said three women assaulted her. Waterfield was treated at a local hospital for minor injuries and released. Both Cinnaminson teens were injured in the Saturday incident on Wayne Drive.
Cinnaminson Police are searching for a group of suspects who reportedly jumped two teens early Saturday morning. Two 19-year-old Cinnaminson males were jumped by a group of six to eight men in the 100 block of Wayne Drive around 12:30 a.m. Saturday, police said. The suspects ordered the victims to turn over money and valuables, and then began assaulting the teens. One of the teens suffered a broken nose and concussion, and the other cuts and bruises, police said. The suspects made off with one of the victim’s Droid Incredible phone. According to police, the suspects fled toward Riverton Road. Cinnaminson Police are requesting that anyone with knowledge of the incident to contact officers at 856-829-6668, ext. 18.

Lenola Road man pleaded guilty last month to marijuana-growing charges.
Update 5:25 p.m. Monday: Daniel J. Smith was one of 12 people who pleaded guilty last month after a federal jury in Philadelphia convicted Richard K. Creamer of conspiracy to manufacture 1,000 or more marijuana plants and maintaining a place for manufacture of controlled substances. According to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, Smith worked at the city warehouse where, monthly, up to 20 pounds of high-grade marijuana sold for about $5,000 per pound.
