When Will Harvest Diner Replacement Open?

Who are the new owners? What will it be called? What month is it expected to (re)open? Read on to find out.

The diner formerly known as Harvest is expected to reopen sometime in June, if the new owners have their way. Harvest Diner, formerly owned by Stella Savva, closed in January after 19 years in business. However, it was purchased by the Roustas family, who have owned and operated the popular Sage Diner, on Route 73 in Mount Laurel, for 21 years.  Co-owner Louis Roustas said the former Harvest Diner is currently undergoing a major makeover inside and out. "It's a significant overhaul," he said, explaining that the new restaurant—which will be called "Jersey Diner"—will bear little resemblance to the original, at least structurally. Harvest Diner Closing Sunday

The owners of a Mount Laurel diner are slated to take over and reopen this spring.

  Harvest Diner in Cinnaminson will close its doors this Sunday after 19 years in business. However, the diner is slated to reopen in the spring with a new menu, a new look and new owners. Stella Savva, owner of Harvest Diner since 1994, told Cinnaminson Patch Thursday it was “the right time” to close. “We are sad we are leaving now,” Savva said. “It’s our home away from home. It was something we needed to do.” Savva did not elaborate more on the reason for closing. However the owners of Sage Diner, the popular Route 73 diner in Mount Laurel, are set to take over. “It’s going to be pretty spectacular,” said Sage manager Bobby Roustas. The Best Breakfast in Cinnaminson Is...

Patch readers weigh voted for their favorite local spot to get the most important meal of the day.

After a week of voting, Patch readers have voted the Breakfast Nook as Cinnaminson's best breakfast. The breakfast restaurant, located in the township's East Riverton section on Bannard Street near the Cinnaminson River Line stop, took 26 percent of the votes. Popular diner Hathaway's was a close second at 21 percent and both Harvest Diner and Paula's were tied for third with 19 percent of the votes.
