South Lenola Rd. in Moorestown Closed Next Week

A section of the road will be shut down during the day throughout next week while crews make repairs to the drainage pipe.

South Lenola Road, between Camden Avenue and Kings Highway in Moorestown, will be closed starting Monday, Nov. 12, as construction crews begin replacing 700 feet of drainage pipe. Construction is expected to begin Friday, Nov. 9, according to Joseph T. Brickley, public works director and county engineer. The construction will necessitate closing South Lenola Road between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. each day for about a week, weather permitting. A detour will be posted.   South State, Inc., of Bridgeton, is the contractor for the $168,332 project that involves replacing the existing deteriorated, perforated corrugated metal pipe with an 18-inch perforated polyethylene pipe.
