A Cinnaminson Couple Will Say 'I Do' on Doomsday

Maureen Benetz and Chris Grabosky have been planning their end of the world wedding for three years.

  If the Mayans are wrong and today is not doomsday, it still definitely marks an end for Cinnaminson's Chris Grabosky. He’s getting married today. But the bachelor-no-more and his fiancée, Maureen Benetz, knew this day was coming; they planned a Dec. 21, 2012, wedding three years ago. “We knew what day we were getting married three hours after we got engaged,” said Benetz. Benetz and Grabosky, both 25 and from Cinnaminson, didn’t have a normal engagement, so why should their wedding be run-of-the-mill? Grabosky asked Benetz’s parents for her hand in marriage on Dec. 22, 2009. But Benetz’s sister stole the limelight when she and her husband were engaged on Christmas Day that year. Plans changed. Grabosky was then set to propose on New Year…

Cinnaminson Schools Closed Monday and Tuesday

The township's emergency management team made the call Sunday afternoon.

Due to Hurricane Sandy's arrival early Monday morning, Cinnaminson public schools will be closed both Monday and Tuesday. St. Charles will also be closed Monday and Tuesday.  The Cinnaminson Township Municipal Building will be closed Monday.
