Township to Sell Parcel of Land to Developer

The new project is not yet announced but would occupy Sunoco and the former car wash.

  The township recently approved issuing a letter of intent to sell a parcel of land off Route 130 to a potential developer. The tract of land—between Sunoco gas station and the corner of the jug handle of Route 130 North and Branch Pike—is township-owned and could be part of a package to a potential developer. Arista Development LLC may have a buyer in mind that would occupy that piece of land, Sunoco and the former car wash in the gas station’s parking lot. That piece of land—said Deputy Mayor Anthony Minniti, who also serves as the director of economic development—was leftover from roadway construction. True but I am saying that our small town cannot support so many pharmacys. Plus we may end up losing a local family owned Pharmacy if this happens, which would be a tragedy. Id rather see Sunoco stay there more then a Walgreens   more ›
