Looking for a scenic, historic backdrop for your wedding? Burlington County Clerk Timothy Tyler will be performing individual wedding ceremonies at the county’s historic Smithville Mansion on Smithville Road in Eastampton on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012. “It is once again my pleasure to offer couples the unique opportunity to exchange vows at the stately Smithville Mansion,” said Tyler, who has performed more than 500 ceremonies since taking office in 2009.  There are a limited number of spots available, so interested couples should contact the clerk’s office as soon as possible to schedule their ceremony. Want to Hold a Christmas Wedding? You Can

There are still appointments available for a Dec. 23 wedding at Smithville Mansion.

Happy couples ready to tie the knot this holiday season can still sign up to exchange their vows at Smithville Mansion. The Burlington County County Clerk is performing weddings between 4 and 8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 23. The Mansion will be decorated for the holidays and the bride and groom and their guests can use the billiard room for the ceremonies.  Interested couples must obtain a license from the municipality in which either the bride or groom reside, unless neither person lives in New Jersey. In such cases, the license must be obtained at the Eastampton Municipal Complex.  It takes 72 hours to obtain a license, so please plan ahead.  The County Clerk performs ceremonies for residents, non-residents and persons attached to the military …

An Elegant Affair: The Bank On Main

One Cinnaminson woman helped bring the historic Riverton building back to life.

Driving by the Cinnaminson Bank and Trust Company building on Main Street, the Antonucci family didn’t want to see it sit vacant any longer. The early 20th Century gem, nestled on a quiet corner on Main Street in Riverton, was unoccupied—and getting dirtier by the day—for about a year. That is until Larry Antonucci, of Riverton, decided to buy it. “It’s such a beautiful old building,” said Lisa Antonucci, Larry’s wife. “All that detail inside.” After the family bought it in the spring of last year, it was given to Keri Antonucci, Larry and Lisa’s daughter, as a graduation gift. County Revives Valentine's Day Tradition

The county clerk will perform wedding ceremonies this Feb. 14.

The county is renewing a tradition this Valentine's Day by conducting wedding ceremonies at the Historic Smithville Mansion Feb. 14. But, the schedule is filling up quickly. With only two weeks left until Valentine's Day, County Clerk Timothy D. Tyler is urging any couples who are interested to contact the county office. "The Historic Smithville Mansion location is proving, as it has in the past, to be quite a draw,” said Tyler in a recent statement. The mansion is located in Eastampton.  Weddings will be performed by appointment, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There are a limited number of appointments available.   Couples interested in a Valentine’s Day wedding should contact the office at 609-265-5122 by Monday, Feb. 7, to ensure an appointment…
