Cinnaminson 'Showcase' Highlights All Town Has to Offer

Getting excited for Cinnaminson Appreciation Day? Find out what you need to know ahead of the festivities.

All things Cinnaminson—its businesses, community groups, schools, sports, citizens and more—will be on display later this month at the annual Cinnaminson Appreciation Day festivities at Wood Park.

Committeeman Don Brauckmann, liaison to parks and recreation, said the event is a "showcase for everything that Cinnaminson has to offer."

"I just want to have people come and participate and show up and see what our town's doing," he said. "It's a great town."

Brauckmann said more than 100 groups will have tables/tents during the event, which each year brings thousands of people to the park. There will be a DJ, a multitude of activities for children, and possibly even more musical entertainment.

And, of course, food.

The major critique of last year's Cinnaminson Day was the long lines that formed in the food court area, Brauckmann said. All the food offerings were clustered together, creating a buffet-style atmosphere, which is where the long lines came in.

This year, the food will be interspersed among the other vendors to avoid long lines from forming, the committeeman explained.

Cinnaminson Day is scheduled for noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22. In the event of rain, it will be held the following Sunday, though “hopefully we won’t need it,” said Brauckmann.

There are still spots open (though there have been waiting lists in previous years), so interested vendors should contact Pat Rucci, zoning and planning secretary, at 856-829-6000, ext. 2313, or send an application—available on the township’s Facebook page—to Rucci at Cinnaminson Township, 1621 Riverton Road, Cinnaminson, NJ 08077, or email it to prucci@cinnaminsonnj.org.
