Looking for Something to do This Summer?

We've put together a list of fun summer events happening in Cinnaminson, Riverton and Delran—from concerts to movies to parades. Did we miss something? Let us know.

Summer's here (technically the equinox is next week, but whatever), and that means people are looking for fun stuff to do—especially once school lets out and the kids are home.

The St. Charles Borromeo Carnival is in town until Saturday. But what about after that?

Don't worry. We've done our homework and put together a list of a whole host of events being held in Cinnaminson (and a few in neighboring communities) this summer.

Finally, right at the tail end of summer—literally, the autumn equinox is Sept. 22—is Cinnaminson Appreciation Day, set to be held from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, at Wood Park. Check out photos from last year's event here.

Our neighbors in Riverton and Delran have a few things going on this summer as well.

Over in Riverton, the borough will hold its 116th annual 4th of July Parade. (We don't need to tell you the date, right?) Aside from the parade itself, there are plenty of events leading up to and during that day, including the annual Riverfront Cocktail Party (June 29), the House Decorating Contest, Bill Oliver 5k/1-Mile Run, pet pageant and more. Visit the Riverton 4th of July Parade website for the full list of events.

On June 30, Circle of Friends will host—in conjunction with the 4th of July Parade Committee—a concert in Riverton Memorial Park featuring the Mark Brown Quartet and the John Byrne Band. The free concert begins at 6 p.m. You can get more information about the performers on the Circle of Friends website.

Delran launches its very own farmers market starting next Tuesday, June 18. The market will be held from 4 p.m. to dusk every Tuesday through the end of August at the Delran municipal building (900 S. Chester Ave.). For more information, visit the township's Facebook page.
